My name is Sarah and I’m on a mission to create inclusive communication for all. I am the mother of two boys. My eldest son is non-verbal, which is why I became a Makaton tutor. Frustration played a big part in our family life from early on, frustrated that he wasn’t understood and frustrated that we did not understand him. Finding an alternative communication method was a massive relief for all of us and it is a skill my son now has. I would like to support you in easing that frustration in your life, supporting someone to have a ‘voice’ no matter what that looks or sounds like.
